"Perfect for what we wanted, although there were a lot of steps up to our room on the top floor! Large clean room with comfortable beds. The window would have benefited from a good clean though. Lovely staff, decent breakfast and great sunny beer garden which was handy."

"A gem in a Welsh seaside town. The name refers to the patron who gave the first land to the newly formed National trust ( I think). The room was spacious and the bed was excellent. There is air conditioning and the windows are sound proof so little sign of external noise from the high street. The kitchenette was perfect with a seating area for two. There is a private carpark with 6 electric charging points by clenenergy. The restaurant offers a top quality chef with £70 tasting menu"

"Absolutely brilliant stay! The landlord and landlady were fantastic—extremely welcoming and well-organised. The place itself was very clean, well-maintained, and professionally run. Amenities were excellent and everything was just as expected (if not better). A very pleasant stay overall, I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and stress-free experience."

"Generally the property was nice, however having stayed at similar properties over the years, I think there were a few things which could be improved. These are personal preferences but I think its the smaller touches which make all the difference. For example, it would have been nice if guests were given bath towels rather than the smaller sized towels, with spares available at the property. As the property had a hot tub, robes would have been nice. The tea and coffee selection was very basic. I also felt the beds have seen better days. Generally the property was clean but the kitchen floor felt sticky."
