Perfect location and room. Very good breakfast and front desk staff tried very hard despite seeming inexperienced. It is overall a perfect choice for Rye.

Only stayed one night, however have stayed overnight in the past. It is a lovely place with super staff. And Rye is dripping with history (and good pubs)

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The lodge 2 was perfect for our needs as we were staying for a wedding and needed space with a kitchen for 6 days which was helpful with saving time and money. We could dine in when needed. Coming from the US, the amenities and hot water switches take some getting used to, but we figured it out! Thanks for a lovely stay.

We liked everything. However — we would have liked bedside lamps, a hook for towels by the shower, and a fix to the hazardous step by the bathroom.

A lovely little boutique hotel in the countryside near Hastings. Possibly a work in progress, the owners have been working tirelessly for several years to get it to the current state, but we were very happy with it. We didn't try any of the food there, due to circumstances, but the afternoon teas looked wonderful! Highly recommended, easy parking. Just one thing to notice, if when you are approaching the entrance, if you are going uphill (southbound), be very vigilant because the sign is...
