"Host was very helpful and great with any questions and needs. Great family vacation place. Water, fishing and swimming was great. Everyone in our group of 3 family units 6 adults and 3 kiddos total had all the space we needed. House was well stocked for your cooking needs. Good Good location for exploring the area water falls and within driving distance of the porcupine mountains."

"We had a wonderful two night stay with Debbie and Alan while we were in the area for my cousin’s wedding. Debbie was an incredibly warm and welcoming host and we really enjoyed talking with her each morning. The breakfasts were outstanding! Generous portions and absolutely delicious. The breakfast burrito and homemade hash browns were some of the best I’ve ever had. Their home is beautiful and perfectly nestled into the landscape- very Frank Lloyd Wright. Alan designed and built the home himself, and we felt fortunate to stay in such a beautiful, artfully crafted place and to meet the architect himself. Alan always greeted us with a kind smile in the morning and Debbie made us feel completely at home. Between the hospitality, the amazing breakfasts, the peaceful setting, and the beautiful house, this was such a memorable stay. We would absolutely stay here again."

"We enjoyed our stay! Cute cabin (super comfortable beds!). Very clean, easy to find, fairly centrally located for seeing the western UP. Great communication with the hosts! No issues at all! Highly recommend!"

"Great place, plenty of space, great price, fun decor, everything we needed as a base for our travels in the UP. Quiet location and easy to find. Nice portable ac, plus good fans and ceiling fans. Has w/d, just remember to bring your own detergent and bath soaps and shampoo. Plenty of towels and blankets! Would definitely come here again!"
