"Our stay was fabulous. The living space was spacious and comfortable! Well stocked with cooking utensils. The bedrooms upstairs are cozy. Not a lot of privacy, but enough for a few close friends and family. Two of the beds are in a loft so be prepared to climb a ladder. Over all, very little negative to say. Top Passumpsic Hotel Reviews

Hideaway Inn Franconia Notch

Hideaway Inn Franconia Notch

8/10 Good
"This hotel has no front desk or physical staff, which we knew beforehand. Small glitch for us at the start when we received the text with our room number but without the code. We sent a text requesting the code and were good to go before we arrived at the property. We visit the area fairly often and found this place close to Polly's Pancake Parlor and Franconia Notch State Park. It is an older inn in good shape. Most of the first floor is dedicated to entertainment and access to a coffee machine(fresh ground as you wait) and filtered water. Also, there is a digital interface and phone that supposedly gives you a direct connection to the inn's staff. We did not use the phone but did see several people waiting to talk to someone when they arrived to take care of issues. We didn't hang around but it didn't seem like they were connected quickly. Our room was clean with goods views. Small bathroom and very tight in the shower. I am not a fan of the rain type shower-heads and this one was definitely too big for the size shower. We did want fresh towels after a couple of days and found some a floor down. The supply closet on our floor was low. In all, the views are great, clean room, so-so on the daily maintenance outside the room, close to what we were interested in."
