"Nice and cozy rooms in the middle of nothing, just you and the silence broken by some very faint cowbells coming from the landscape, place is very realxing!!! On the front, there's some convenient tables and chairs to enjoy the pleasant scenery. Unfortunately, there's one BIG con: the only window in the room is the upper part of the main door (it's a splitted door) with no curtains, which means no privacy at all if you want to keep the window open. "Lovely hotel where every attention to detail has been paid. Great breakfast, safe parking and the use of 2 mountain bikes made this hotel ideal for us. The location was quiet so not so handy for the centre of Llanes and restaurants and bars"

"The location next a very nice beach was its best feature. However, we were put into a room in a building that was not attached to the hotel proper rather than in a room in the actual hotel. But the staff was very responsive to our requests for a small refridgerator. And the beach was very nice. All in all, a nice stay."

"I travelled to the hotel on a motorcycle through mountain roads in the hope of seeing the total solar eclipse on 12th August. The place impressed from the start, Welcoming receptionist and an aesthetic vibe unlike anywhere I've stayed, and the room merited the superior' tag - with a sumptuous bathroom, offering an unprecedented (for me) shower experience. Wonderful after the effort of getting there. A multinational group of guests enhanced the sense of being somewhere very special. The view on arrival evening was sunny and sublime, but alas a change of wind direction, as forecast, resulted in us being enveloped in cloud almost all the following day, including during the eclipse. Breakfast was freshly prepared and provided a wonderful selection of savoury and sweet, including fresh fruits. A heavy cold confined me to the immediate vicinity after walking down into Villaviciosa for food and some drink as the bar service was closed due to the staff being limited on eclipse evening, but our in-room refrigerators were kindly stocked with drinks to compensate. I wish, on reflection, that I had stayed a third night, not only because of the cold symptoms, but because it was such a relaxing setting. Another year, also, I would not choose months other than August for visiting the area again. Visit again I will, though!"
