In the heart of Paris, in the Montorgueil-St Denis neighbourhood where life is lived well: traditional restaurants, bakers (croissants, baguettes), 19th century building in dressed stone. Apartment completely refurbished in 2009, situated at 37 rue Greneta Paris 2°, 2nd floor with lift, not adapted to the handicapped, ideal for a sightseeing or romantic break. The culture and charm of Paris can be appreciated better on foot: the museum of modern art, 'Le Centre Pompidou-Beaubourg', Chatelet-Les Halles, the banks of the Seine, l’Ile de la Cité and 10 min away : Notre Dame and the Louvre museum, not forgetting the luxury boutiques of the Place des Victoires, and the trendy shops of the Marais neighbourhood.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié ce logement et nos hôtes ont toujours été disponibles pour des besoins spécifiques : réservation de taxi, réponses à nos questions. L'emplacement était idéal et tout à fait conforme à nos attentes. L'appartement était très propre et très coquet. Nous avons pu faire de nombreuses visites à pied. L'endroit était aussi facilitant pour rejoindre les transports en commun. Bref, que du positf!! Des hôtes très professionnels et respectueux, merci Francine et Robert

Perfect location, quiet street, close to metro and several restaurants & shopping within just a few blocks. Air conditioning saved us from hot summer days.Host was very communicative and check in and out instructions were very clear.Would stay here again!

My wife, my sixteen year-old daughter and I had a wonderful stay in this apartment. The place is very comfortable and it had everything we needed for our week long visit. The AC was a bonus in the summer heat, and the sofa bed worked well for my daughter (no complaints). The best part about this place is the location. Easy walks to Notre-Dame, the Louvre, dozens of restaurants, the Metro, groceries, stores, etc. and we felt the neighborhood was safe. For anyone who likes to workout, there is a gym in the building next door which is handy and you can even see the Eiffel Tower in the distance from a window at the top of the stairwell. Communication with the owner was easy and we had no difficulties. Merci!

Best neighborhood in Paris

My sister and I in our 70’s stayed 12 nights in this fabulous apartment! So enjoyed coffee in the morning on the balcony and dining many times on Rus Montorguiel! We even survived the loudest night in Paris per year —Fete de Musique—thanks to the practically soundproof balcony doors!

My first impression of the apartment was that it was “dingy” not dirty just dark with all drab colors. There was no decor in the apartment that said “Welcome to Paris”. The small kitchen was over cluttered with no counter space. Two coffee makers a tea kettle were taking up the most space.

Small one bedroom apartment. Nice kitchen, well equipped. Tile bathroom, shower stall. Mattress was not too comfortable, but adequate. Location was perfect for sightseeing. Good security.

Excellent!

We had to contact the owner to answer a few questions. He was easy to reach. Apartment was terrific! Great neighborhood! Lively around all corners, but quiet on our street. Close to metro. Easy walking around. Clean. One thing: we couldn’t find the washer…it’s hidden behind a kitchen cupboard door! It worked great once we figured out where it was! We were very happy, and would stay there again!

A very pleasant stay

The apartment is well sized, the location is amazing. Very close to the metro which we used every day during our stay. The appliances are small, but that is to be expected for a small three room apartment. Check in was easy once we realized it was one door down from the car park. The location is insane and right in the beating heart of Paris. And there are plenty of amenities to make the stay feel better than a hotel. The nespresso was great, and being able to save left overs and buy some small grocery items let us experience products we never would have at home.

Anniversary Trip

Our stay was amazing! The apartment had everything we needed and was just as described. Check in and out was super easy and the host even left us a bottle of wine when we checked in. The location was great as well, just a 5 minute walk to the public transport. Several places to dine and shop. I will definitely go back!

Great place in a great city

Wonderful apartment in the 2nd of Paris. It is completely as advertised and previously positively reviewed, but better. We walked easily to all major sites, and could have easily used the Metro. For time critical reservations at some distance, we used Uber easily.

Wonderful stay!

My sister and I stayed here and couldn’t have been happier with the apartment, the neighborhood, and the proximity to attractions and metro stations. 3 weeks of paradise

We absolutely loved this place. It was perfect for two people. Everything you need is provided for. Nice kitchen with a keurig for morning coffee or else water kettle if you prefer tea. It is definitely on the small size of three rooms consisting of bedroom, and a living/kitchen area and a small bath. The water pressure was perfect for having a shower. We are not familiar with washer/dryer machine and we find it very frustrating even though directions were provided in English. The hosts were wonderful and responded to our questions in a timely manner. If I had to give one answer why I loved it so much it would have to be location, location. The apartment is just steps from pharmacies, clothing stores and every kind of restaurant you could want. We would considering renting this place again during future stays. As a side note, a day visit to Rouen should definitely be on your agenda

Wonderful Location and very well equipped apartment

We enjoyed our time in Yves' lovely apartment. It had everything one needs for a 2 week stay. The location was excellent with great restaurants close by. Main tourist attractions we saw by walking and the rest by metro, which were only 5 minutes away. The Nespresso Ventuo made really good coffee. We found a shop in Marais for those larger pods. The only issue is the checking in process where it is very difficult to see the codes to access the keys, as it sits in a mailbox. But we managed it eventually.

Yves ist eine sehr aufmerksame Person. Die komplette Vermietung ist sehr gut organisiert und kommuniziert. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet und ist optimal gelegen um Paris zu Fuß zu erkunden und das Nachtleben im Herzen von Paris nicht zu missen.

Great location and ambience

Neighbor was fantastic. Grocery stores, restaurants, bakeries and shops were all close and great. Walking distance to lots of museums and points of interest. Owner very response and easy to communicate with. Will stay again. Thank you.

Excellent location in Paris

Very close to two Metro stations, and easy access with only 5 steps up to the apartment from the elevator. Very secure. The windows block out the noise from the street. The washer/dryer is a typical European model - that means the clothes get clean and damp. Finish drying them on the rack, and use the fan. The apartment worked very well for a couple. There is a Monoprix and a patisserie nearby, and a great variety of restaurants within 2 or 3 blocks. The air conditioner worked very well.

The Place to Stay

I cannot even begin to express how wonderful this place was. The checking in process was seamless, with Yves being super responsive and giving very clear instructions to follow. The place was very clean and looked even better than the pictures. We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony during the morning! As for the location, it was perfect. Very close to a lot of great places to eat that were open late which was convenient for us. Plus everything we wanted to see was within a 5-25 minute bus/metro ride from the apartment. The neighbourhood felt super safe and the overall energy was lovely. If you get the chance, definitely book with them!
