B&B in Panamá Province

El Litoral is a quiet corner of paradise up the coast from Panama City. The house is a few blocks from the beach which was deserted at noon on a Friday in late August. The neighborhood is accessed through a security check point and feels quite safe. Rene and Anne Marie are exceptional hosts in their private home where they live year round. They have given every attention to details large and small. Living is easy in the back of the house boasting a lovely pool, outdoor kitchen, an open...

I loved my stay at this hotel. I stayed at this location when it was the Veneto over 12 years ago, & it wasn’t very good for a number of reasons. I am so glad to report that The Waymore is now my favorite hotel in Panama City & I’ve been going to Panama City 1-2xs a year for over 20 years. The location near the metro, good restaurants, markets, Via Argentina (& all it has to offer) are huge advantages. The staff was extremely courteous & spoke English well. The room was spectacular (a junior...

Excelente hotel

While not a luxury resort this hotel was the perfect experience for my first two nights in Panama. It’s affordable and Vicky the manager is a kind, caring and incredibly helpful and generous person. I felt like I was staying with a good friend vs a hotel. Priced under a $100 a night -felt like a bargain and the view was amazing.

Great location under the Bridge of the Americas

I don't like staying in hotels for long periods of time (anything more than a couple of days). Sophia's was great. During our 15 days in Panama, every evening we felt like we could come home and relax. There was room to lounge, watch Tv, eat dinner at a real table, and go to sleep on a comfortable bed. The location, the comfort, the wonderful staff, all these make Sophia's a fantastic place to stay
