Check out this well-maintained, beautiful beach cottage in The Magnolia Cottages by the Sea. 'Magnolia Mermaid' exemplifies elegance and is sure to be the perfect vacation destination for you and your family INCLUDING YOUR PUP. Conveniently located between Watersound and Alys beach along Scenic Highway 30A, there is plenty to do in the area surrounding this home.

'Magnolia Mermaid' has a new, state of the art refrigerator and oven. The kitchen has gorgeous marble countertops, beautiful hardwood floors, unique furniture and other features to make your stay as memorable and enjoyable as possible. Stainless steel appliances and white cabinets make the kitchen feel inviting, especially when coupled with the elegant lighting fixtures. The custom dining room table is large and with additional seating at the counter, the kitchen is sure to be a great place to enjoy eating with family and friends!

The home features three full baths with tiled floors. There is a room with 2 full beds. The beautifully decorated master suite hosts a cozy king size bed. The other suite features a queen size bed. All three bedrooms, the outside patio and living room have TVs for your viewing pleasure.

Relax on the large screened back porch! There is a porch swing, lounge chairs, a love seat and a gas grill, making it the perfect place to kick back on a beautiful afternoon. The home is less than a 5 min. walk to the community pool and is a 5 min. walk to the beach access across 30A.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS (SLEEPS 8)
• Master Suite: (1) King Bed w/ ensuite bathroom- shower/tub combo, single vanity
• Second Master Suite: (1) Queen Bed w/ ensuite bathroom- shower/tub combo, single vanity
• Third Bedroom: 2 Full beds w/ back porch access

• 2 cars fit in driveway. No additional spots provided.

BOOKING POLICY
• A 50% Advance Deposit is due at the time of booking.
• Balance is due 30 days prior to arrival date.
• Check-In begins at 4:00 PM CST.
• Check-Out is by 10:00 AM CST.
• Must Be 25 Or Older To Rent. Must have 1 adult for every 2 persons under the age of 25.
• Pet friendly, allows two dogs maximum, with pet fee of $350.

Great area but isn’t actually close beach access

Beautiful location and looks just like the pictures. But it should be explained that while you’re given a code to get on the beach and it’s a quick walk, you will not be able to set up where you walk on the beach. We were immediately directed down beach as we are from across the street and that beach is for those who own/rent on the beach. It was a hike to get to the area we were allowed to sit on. The place was fine but would have been better if it had some comforts that every Airbnb we’ve stayed at has; such as salt and pepper, sugar as well as a garbage bag for each day you’re renting. 2 garbage bags and one roll of paper towels when other places offer so many more amenities means we will rent somewhere else nex

Everything about this place is awesome! About a 5 minute or less walk from doorstep to the beach. We loved the quiet beach community. The house was very clean and it is well kept. We also loved how shady the lot is. It is a very relaxing atmosphere. This place is one of the few places we found that allowed our great dane. We would definitely book this place again in the future.

Cozy cottage

The cottage was cozy and had ample space for 6 people and is was well equipped for making our own meals. We loved the porch swing and back patio. The heated pool is close by and was a great addition. The cafe at the end of the street had great popsicles and iced coffee.Our only issue was beach access. We used the code provided to access the beach gate and set up at the bottom of the stairs along the beach. A man came by and said we on private property and were trespassing unless we paid 70/day/chair and made us leave. It was embarrassing and unexpected. We had to pack up and leave. I explained that we had a code for the beach access, but he didn’t care and told us 4 times that we were trespassing.

Beautiful Cottage - Handy to the Beach!

We enjoyed everything about this beautiful cottage! Lovely neighborhood, so close to the beach! Everything was exactly as described and the host was extremely responsive. Highly recommend!!

Family Vacation

The whole house was fantastic. Just as described. Had an incredible ambiance to it. Plenty of space for everyone while also allowing great shared space to be together and have good fellowship. The AC didn’t reach the rooms as well as it could have. The bedrooms were a degree or 2 warmer than the living room. We were thankful for the fans to keep us cool at night. The biggest issue we had was that the 2 doors leading out to the back patio didn’t have working deadbolts or locks at all, so we felt exposed at night when sleeping unfortunately. Besides that it was wonderful

Short walk to beach and pool

We loved the location, easy walk to the beach and pool. We could ride our bikes to Rosemary beach and the Big chill with a toddler and 7 year old. The only minor thing is the chairs could be updated outside. They looked mildew on some. Loved the porch swing. Had a great time, we’d stay again.

Charming perfection

Perfect location centered between serene Alys beach and vintage Seaside! Peaceful back-porch bliss situated in wooded seclusion. Updated and very clean. Short walk to beach, although quite a few steps down to it. Do not recommend if you have elderly guests. Would book again in a heartbeat!

Quiet Location

Very cute cottage in a nice and quiet location. Very easy to get to The Big Chill and to The Horseshoe/Rosemary. The neighborhood was perfect for my preteen to ride his bike without worrying about traffic, close enough for the teen to bike to see his friends, and the dogs loved their walks each day. Would definitely stay there again.

Place was immaculate and great location.

Perfect accommodations, just a little smaller than we anticipated. We had 5 teenage boys with us and a couple had to sleep on the couch but we don’t spend much time inside while at the beach anyway so it did not matter. The only negative was we have Verizon and had zero coverage inside the house. We had to walk or drive away to use our phones. Again, we like to discinnnect while on vacation so nothing major, just an inconvenience.

Cute House but needs some love!

House was cute and in a great location, I do however think it should be noted that to get to the beach there are 4 flights of stairs to get down to the sand. Also the pictures on the web site do need updating, the house has been well loved and some of the furnishing/ pillows need a good cleaning. The back porch is in need of a refresh along with the outside bushes and weeds need to be handled. There were 2 bird nests on the porch and briars that are coming through the screens, which need a good washing as well. Def. needs some attention to the landscaping.
