Charming old-school hotel with MCM design touches throughout. Fantastic pool and courtyard, quiet rooms with lots of space, nice touches throughout. We will definitely stay here again.
This was a little gem of a place! All rooms have a kitchen/kitchenette. They’re all open to the courtyard which is an absolute oasis. The pool and hot tub were fabulous. The courtyard even had a hammock, fire pit, grills, pizza oven, and bar area with a tv. Staff was super friendly and went above and beyond. We will definitely be staying heee again in the future!
Everything from checkin which we were able to early thankfully to Teri whom had a room available for us, to the whole very relaxed and beautiful vibe of this property.
The staff is exceptional and the rooms are immaculate. All the modern amenities one could ask for but the hotel maintains it's classic character and nostalgic feel.
A lovely place to stay while indulging in the beauty of Southern California!! The beauty of the hotel and it's grounds

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Loved the vibes at this hotel! It was very welcoming and had lots of fun amenities. I also really appreciated how clean the room was. I would love to come back for a longer stay sometime.
this place was super rad! very cool decor inside and beautiful landscaping…lots of great small details throughout like snacks & drinks waiting in the rooms, pool toys, bbq area…and the staff is fantastic and friendly
Nice location but you can hear traffic from nearby road but this did not interfere with our stay. Room 8 corner suite was great. Lovely pool and gardens. Breakfast was continental but options included cereals, toast, yogurts, boiled eggs, muffins etc. All staff warm and friendly.
First of all, Steven and all other hotel staff were incredibly friendly from first moment till the end. Heated pool and jacuzzi, beautiful lush garden, quietness, breakfast and all other snacks they thought for us, cleaning. Thank you. I will come again for sure.
I was so happy with everything about The Desert Riviera. I was trying to think of something I would suggest to improve but I have to say…everything was perfect, comfortable, friendly, clean, special. I can’t say enough. We will be back!
This location is truly remarkable. It is a concealed treasure within the desert region. For those seeking a tranquil retreat and a peaceful experience, this is the ideal destination. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Corvin for providing us with a tour of the property, and to Misty for taking the time to share the history and notable features of the estate. This venue possesses a unique charm, and the staff effortlessly creates an atmosphere that makes you feel like part of the family. Be sure to mark your starting point on the large map and take the opportunity to feed the hummingbirds.
Linda was great, checked on us prior to check in, making sure we were accommodated if being late for check in, felt very personalized. The retro decor made us feel like we were on the set of "Mad Men", its meticulously maintained, its movie star quality.
