"My 10 day stay at PortD’Hiver B&B was a real pleasure. Great location, great rooms , great breakfasts, great staff, and quite possibly the best cookies I’ve ever had !! 😊 I only wish they had a restaurant on the premises, but there are several within a short walking distance. I’m looking forward to staying there again."

"Lovely, spacious, super clean room. Friendly and efficient staff, both day and night shift. Loved the Mother's Day lobby decorations. Nice, tasty breakfast. All in all, had a great, memorable holiday stay at this convenient to I95 and Palm Bay sights hotel. Thank you!"
"I did like the location very much. The room was clean and welcoming. Staff was helpful but not fabulous. It's an older hotel and reasonably priced per night. I don't recommend being on the first floor.
We enjoyed the two restaurants across the street that are part of Captain Hirams's hotel. Nightly music, a small gift store, and all the sporting things you can do are available. Parking is not a problem. The Indian River cruises and fishing are also available.
Coffee, tea, and water are available in the lobby for early risers.
Great for families."

"The staff was very pleasant and helpful. I went to get breakfast at 8:30 and there was nothing out. The bedside lights did not work. We book a stay 2 or 3 times a year, when taking my grandson to college. We like this location because there is a larger choices of places to eat and Walmart is close to get what my Grandson needs for his dorm. Would recommend. "
"Location was great, everything is close by. Staff very friendly and helpful and always around. The breakfast was horrible, they served the same thing every day. Wasn't really a variety to choose , no waffle or pancake maker. If you wanted coffee you half to leave your room to get it. No bathtub only showers, was pissed about that, the snacks where high. Overall not bad , but expected more, price for this hotel could have been cheaper being is Wasn't much they offered."
"Do not reserve here over Mothers Day weekend if you’d like peace, quiet, clean and pool/hot tub time. Due to baseball league tournaments on the Space Coast they are inundated with young kids and families.. at times 10-16 kids in the hot tub. Beach was littered with their garbage, towels, random lost items. The staff was amazing and gracious- cleaning constantly but just unable to keep up. I have stayed here 6+ times and have loved every visit - this weekend was horrid though. Was never able to get even close to the hot tub or pool without screaming, splashing boys or eventually at late evening - then to dirty pool and water. Great spot for the teams to stay. I’ll avoid this hotel next time at all costs. And had to pay $7.00 with tip just to get a cup of coffee in the morning which used to complimentary. Love the location, timing was bad. Staff are wonderful!"

"The room was well kept & clean but had a really strong smell of Mold for some odd reason. My husband & i tried to see where the mold was coming from but no signs physically showing. The hotel itself was definitely quiet & family friendly. Would maybe consider to go back when visiting Melbourne again."
"Horrible experience. Arrived at 11:30PM. Late. But usually, you have a front desk where you could ring a bell and an attendant would come out. Here, the building doors were locked after 11:00PM. The instructions tell you to grab the phone on the wall and dial 500 after hours. No answer. Tried multiple times. Decided to press 2 for reservations. Of course somebody answers there because it means money. I explained the lady I had a reservation but nobody was answering the front desk. She tried remotely calling the location. No answer. She put me in with a supervisor. She tried calling remotely, no answer. t this point, she tells me “we can give you point for a free night at a different hotel” 2 things: I don’t give a flying rat about freaking points, I paid money. Second, there’s no free night here, I already paid for a night. Still, I asked here what are those options. She tells me Econo lodge and days inn. Literally the last cheapest filthy crack places in town. At this point I tell her very clear: there’s 2 possible outcomes here. You either check me in here, or give me my money back. She proceed to tell me that she’s not really the hotel, but a customer service for a hotel group so she can’t issue refunds.
So basically the place is a scam. If you don’t make it early, they just literally shut the door locked and take your money. You’re at the mercy of whoever is in charge there that night. If that element decides to go to bed and send the phone to hell, you’re screwed."
