"The receptionist was very slow to check in - it took about 10 min standing in front of him while he was using his computer. He was not aware if the restaurant was opened , couldn’t show us restaurant Menü . The hotel has distinct smell when you come in with candles burning all day . "This was just what I needed. The hotel was exceptionally clean and peaceful, providing a nice break from the trail. The food was excellent and the staff were outstanding. When I checked out I forgot my wallet in my room. The proprietor literally ran up the hill to return it to me. I highly recommend this place."

"A great base for ski- in and out with friendly staff and good food. Only negative was the dining arrangements which might be helped by allocating room numbers to tables as experienced in other hotels, and to have 2 set sittings to regulate and accommodate groups and the noise!"
