"Great option for those walking the Camino — it’s a little out of the way, but a taxi can easily get you there. The hotel sits in a peaceful location surrounded by nature, making it a relaxing getaway. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. The spa receptionist couldn’t have been more rude, making us feel unwelcome from the start. Breakfast was also poor, with a very limited selection and low quality. The setting is lovely, but both the service and food need serious improvement."

"I was the only person staying at this hotel which was a bit disconcerting as it really is in thr middle of nowhere - about 1.3 km off the camino. But it is excellent. The staff could not have been nicer, and more accommodating. Even though i was the only person staying, they still put out the full dinner and breakfast buffet. I was treated like a king! If you want somewhere truly rural, a bit off the camino (i walked back to it the next day in 25 mins), this is an interesting, unique, peaceful...

"Only 5 bedrooms in a very rural isolated area directly on the camino path. Nothing else close to it and limited food choices. Quite, relaxing and ensuite bedroom clean. No air conditioning but able to leave windows open."

"Not on The Camino to Santiago (2 hours on foot from Palas de Rei) but a great stop if you want an idyllic getaway in the middle of your pilgrimage, gorgeous views and facilities, Gourmet food and extremely delicious dishes you will not find anywhere else typical of Galicia. We were extremely impressed with the two bathroom comfortable accommodations and very spacious layout."
