"The room was nice and spacious and I loved having the couch to relax on. We mostly visit to relax and swim in the pools and spa, however, the pool was not very clean looking and this was noticed by other visitors as well. I always enjoy the breakfast as well."

"A newly built section on the site of an older motel. Everything in the room was new, comfortable, spacious and relaxing. The embroidered linen ware was a nice touch also. A fully equipped kitchen and separate bedroom would make this an ideal location for extended stays, such as business trips, tradies, etc. The staff were exceptional hosts. Located in a quiet side street,just a short walk from the heart of Piaha, and with the beach at the end of the street, this was a fantastic find. A tv in the bedroom would be a bonus"

"I lovely historic hotel, oozing grandeur, in a wonderful waterfront location. Ornate and colourful public rooms. No on-site parking, but in a separate car park one street away. Bit of an ordeal to get your luggage and stuff from the car to your room. For classic room Read very small, no frills, no windows or views, but opens to a nice shared interior balcony area. The room was clean with all amenities. More a walk back through history experience than a luxury stay."

"Very clean, great location, and quiet. Dave was amazing and very helpful. Kitchen was well stocked. Enjoyed the hot tub each evening. Free laundry was great but the eco dryer required a lot of patience. Dave was very up front about it so we were prepared for the wait. "
