"This was a very funky fun hotel. To get the negative side things out of the way first:There were a few things missing, like a vending machine and an easily accessible ice machine. When I did find the ice machine, it was down in the basement by the washer and dryer, and it was not clear that the random plastic bins nearby were meant as ice buckets. The elevator was so tiny that I wondered what would've happened for somebody in wheelchair for example. Lastly, I couldn't figure out how to turn on the fire pit thing in the courtyard. I suppose I could've asked.
Now on to the good things!
First and foremost, the staff were amazing. They were friendly. They were helpful when I had an emergency and had to cut my trip short. They were extremely understanding and made it very smooth for me. The EV charger in the garage was a huge perk The rooms are funky, with bright colors and amusing art. The "I used to be a motel" vibe made me smile. The location is close to all the things that I like to do.
The last thing is that I think it was a little bit expensive for the amenities and what it is. Even with that, I may very well stay there again. Next time I'm in town because the people were just that nice."
