I can’t say enough good things about this hotel! The customer service is outstanding and the rooms are funky and comfortable. The decor is focused on people that went to IU, like Jane Pauley, Hoagy Charmichael, etc. and my bed was super comfy and made me want to stay in it. The location is the best part of this hotel. Very nice room - but check-in was a nightmare. The key did not scan - so we pulled our suitcase back down to the front desk - they swiped the key again, acted like we were cray and didn't know how to operate the room key and sent us back up to try again. The key did not work. We pulled our suitcase down to the lobby again. The gentleman at the desk acted like we weren't doing something correct and swiped the key again and handed it to me. I would highly recommend this hotel! I think it was probably the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed, and the beds were super comfortable in a large room. The location is ideal (we came for the festival). A restaurant is located in the hotel. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful inn and grounds. Friendly and helpful staff. Homemade breakfast was wonderful. The staff was sweet and kind and the premises include a beautiful garden perfect for weddings. Had a wonderful peaceful time there and would definitely return.

The young lady who checked us in was professional and friendly. The room was large and comfortable. When leaving the next morning we crossed paths with three ladies who clean the rooms. They greeted us with smiles. The one lady with long hair asked us if everything was alright with our stay. She was genuine and is the definition of customer service.

Great place!

It is a historic three story home built in the 1800’s on 9 acres. The 6 rooms are richly appointed. The area is surrounded by corn fields. The owner, Hans is an excellent friendly host and a first class musician. He also serves as a breakfast chef and serves french toast from a family secret recipe. My wife and I throughly enjoyed our stay and would stay there again if luckily our travels bring us back to the area. Highly recommended.
