So calming listening to the birds and roosters, relaxing in my beautiful room, and befriending the owner, Juanita, and her dedicated staff, Crystal, Lucy, and Mikey while enjoying meals and drinks in the friendly restaurant and bar areas. This is the only truly Bahamian hotel experience on Harbour Island and has been owned by the same family for decades! I’m not interested in corporate operated resorts, but prefer the warm welcome I receive every time I walk in the door during my stay! Lots of laughs and good conversation with everyone at Tingum! "The room was nice although i didn’t like the shower ‘faucets’. Staff was not mean but they weren’t necessarily nice either. Several of them acted as if they didnt care whether r not if i made a purchase. The views were great, the monkey bar and the casino bar were amazing. "

"It looked like all the rooms have a clear view of the sea and marina. This hotel is in need of a good refurbishment. The main pool , bar and place to eat are a walk away from the rooms. Not in the main building. On the positive side The staff are great but it’s overpriced for it’s current condition "
