Charming 1 Bedroom Period Cottage in Sevenoaks

"The accommodation itself was fantastic and exactly as described. It was a lovely property and somewhere I would happily consider staying again. Unfortunately, the cleanliness and communication let the stay down. We checked in at around 7:30pm and discovered the property had not been cleaned after the previous guests. There was no clean bedding and no towels, meaning we couldn’t sleep in the bed or have a shower. We therefore had to sleep on the settee and had a very poor night’s sleep. I contacted the property management company that evening and was told someone would attend first thing the following morning, but nobody arrived. I had to chase several times and was repeatedly promised callbacks that never happened. I also requested a call from a manager, which I never received. Eventually, later that afternoon, a cleaner contacted me directly and came to rectify everything. I do feel this may not have happened without me continually chasing. To their credit, the company refunded our first night’s stay and provided a bottle of Prosecco as an apology, both of which were appreciated. Overall, the property itself was excellent. I would probably stay again, but hopefully next time it would be properly cleaned and prepared before check-in."

"Das Ferienhaus steht auf dem Grund einer ehemaligen Kapelle und ist modern und geschmackvoll gehalten. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut. Insbesondere die Küche ist mit hochwertigen Elektrogeräten ausgestattet. Das Kochgeschirr könnte umfangreicher sein. Der Herd ist ein sogenannter "Dauerbrandofen". Das heißt er ist immer warm und gibt diese Wärme auch an den Wohnraum ab. An heißen Sommertagen keine ideale Lösung. Die Wohnfläche ist für 4 Personen noch ausreichend. Es gibt keinen Garten, aber eine Terrasse um draußen zu sitzen. Ein idealer Standort für Ausflüge ins südliche England, an die Küste und mit dem Pendlerzug nach London."

"We absolutely loved our stay here! We were made to feel immediately welcome and our nervous dog felt right at home. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff were fantastic and friendly throughout our stay. We really enjoyed our meal in the evening and the cooked breakfast was fantastic! Parking was easy and the hotel is located centrally in the beautiful village. We would definitely come back!"

"This was the perfect English cottage experience in the beautiful Kent countryside. Our host was wonderful and provided a lovely welcome hamper. It was a perfect, central location to access the towns we most needed to visit. We absolutely loved the Coach House and hope to go back soon. Thank you, Anne!!"
