"The best thing about this hotel is its location (incredibly close to the station) and its staff (friendly and very helpful). It is a very tired looking hotel so really needs an upgrade. Same format room as every other Dormy Inn one I have stayed in."

"Quite close to the Nagano Station (a short walk), good breakfast included, although the breakfast room is very busy for the first hour. Has on site laundry. A pleasant city park is across the street, 2 convenience stores nearby and a "Hotto Motto" fast food outlet a few doors down, as well as the shops and restaurants at and around Nagano Station."

"There were some maintenance issues with the hotel. The lights on the elevator button on the 9th floor did not illuminate, my room lights were also a little trouble. There were a couple of bugs in my room as well. The check in staff was not as accommodating as I would have liked. However, the hot spring was great. The hotel bus driver and restaurant staff were very friendly."

"Property was amazing. Staff was kind enough to accommodate my request for a private onsen room. Which I should have booked initially but didn't realize was an option. Shuttle bus stop at the front door will take you to various ski resorts in the area. Staff is excellent, helpful, kind. Restaurant is great! Had use of a ski locker as well. Full locker, not just a place to hang skus and poles. "
