"Nicer than the pictures—we only got to stay one night, but we would return when we travel through Bergen again. A plus that it had an elevator instead of having to get our luggage up the stairs. "Jonas' apartment in Bergen is very nice, and provided a great spot in the city for our family with two kids. "This is a really lovely hotel. You can see it easily if you arrive on the airport light railway and the location is excellent for exploring Bergen. Check in was a little slow, but the staff were very helpful and the hotel looked amazing decorated for christmas. I paid for an upgrade directly with the hotel and had a great Grande View room over the Christmas Market. We had planned to have a quiet drink in the bar the saturday night, but there seemed to be a private event on and we couldnt find anywhere to go. Possibly a small bar area for hotel guests might be a suggestion?. Breakfast was incredible. Such a huge selection. We used the pool and spa on our final day which was lovely. A late checkout was reasonable at £40. Overall, we loved our time at the Hotel Norge and would definately return."
