"This was a great place to stay- perfect for our family of 4. We had a 1 bedroom villa which gave us a ton of space (plus a washer and dryer!) The hotel has a bunch of amenities, great pool- especially for my kids and a nice beach. The restaurant/bar was good, a little slow when it came to food, orders seemed to run about 10-15 minutes over. We got something from there almost everyday. They are going through a renovation, so there was some noise and construction equipment around- but not terrible, they tried to manage it well. Only draw back is the location (which we knew ahead of time). It’s in a great area that’s quiet, but is about a 40 minute drive to San Juan, and 1.5-2hrs to some of the tours we picked. We rented a car and it was easily drivable, but by the end of the trip the distance was more than we would have liked. Not the hotels fault. Overall, I would recommended and stay again. "

"You get what you pay for! Hotel very run down and pictures misleading. And the main partial ocean views are actually a different hotel! So they also use the pool and dining areas. Breakfast terrible, we tried the omelette station once because of the rave reviews…..disgusting, no flavor and overcooked. Pool bar staff hated their jobs…ignored for 20 minutes just to get 1 drink. Not enough chairs at pool/beach and the made you pay $10 if you wanted one. The ocean is nice but it’s not much of a beach, very rocky make sure you have water shoes. The restaurants were not open while we were there except the main one in hotel but same menu every night. We ended leaving grounds for breakfast and dinner daily. The rooms outdated, rusty fixtures. But the bed was actually very comfortable. The lighting is poor in front room. Overall just dingy. You have a balcony, but theirs no table to set a drink down, and if you want to see ocean you have to stand up and lean over railing. We never found bowling alley… The pool was very nice and grounds around it very pretty…but that’s all the pros I got for our stay. Would never stay there again. There’s a $35 resort fee but you still have to pay for lounge chair if they are all taken!! Ridiculous. Totally expected better for an Hilton brand hotel. Just run down. We have stayed in Mexico, Panama, Ecuador, Peru, Jamaica….so we are well traveled and this staff was probably the worst we have encountered…don’t believe reviews about breakfast! "

"Most of the front desk staff were not welcoming. The room had a leaky faucet that dripped making a loud noise that kept us up at night, phone did not work, one side of the room didn’t have power and the toilet had little to no pressure. We were never offered another room when we presented these issues to the front desk. The blankets were paper thin and whenever we requested an additional one they took it back when housekeeping. The pool and beach area was decent, but you had to pick up and drop off your beach towels at the front main desk. To access the beach, a key card was needed to access it but it was super inconvenient because you needed the key card to exit it. How can you swim with a key card. It felt like entrapment. "

"Perfect space for staying around the metro/highway area! Very spacious and comfortable. I’m a previous local, so I know the streets to find parking during the day, but overnight we usually found a spot outside the building itself. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a local spot to stay in outside of San Juan. "
