"It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the moment my husband and I walked through the doors we were instantly impressed with the cozy, warm feel of this unique property. Old Style charm, well kept, clean, each room has its own personality. The lobby has chess and games, coffee and tea brewing, a fireplace and they even bake cookies a leave them in the lobby by the fire for the quests. Breakfast is served from 8:30-9:30am only (for an extra charge) and all the guests came down and ate at the same time, it makes for a warm atmosphere and the food was “10 out of 10”The staff was so pleasant and the bed was super soft. "

"Over all stay. Started with a delightful young lady who checked us in. The cabin was a surprise. It was modern, had all the amenities, a comfortable bed with fluffy pillows. It was spotlessly clean! Did not disappoint. The WiFi was a bit sketchy, but you don’t come to the forest to look at the internet!"

"We stayed in the tide pool room surrounded by ocean views. I’ve stayed in four star hotels worldwide and this was one of the best overall experiences I’ve ever had. The fog swirling on the ocean at sunrise, followed by an amazing farm-to-table breakfast delivered to your room. This is one of those reviews I’m reluctant to write because I don’t want to compete for reservations. It’s that good. Hopefully you also get to enjoy the sourdough from Tyler’s own starter, it’s just one of the many artisanal touches at this ethereal gem. "

"House is adorable, impeccably clean, surrounded by horses, quiet location, roomy, has everything you need, comfortable, warms up quickly (we stayed in November), completely handicapped accessible, covered parking, and right off hwy 101. There's a pizza place and grocery store right across the street, too. We loved our stay!"

"Really nicely decorated and cozy cabin with beautiful architecture and interesting details. Quiet location during the fall, and plenty of nearby hikes. Five separate locations to sleep but all are open to the main space. The only internal door is to the bathroom, which is off the master. Nice appliances in the kitchen. Plenty of cozy blankets in the linen closet. We hiked the Ladybird Johnson trail in the rain and it was lovely. The mist around the tall trees made it feel primal, quiet, and restorative. "
