"Great area, not far from Alhambra and a short drive from city center. The hotel was nice with good amenties. The lobby and common areas are more recently renovated and well decorated. But our room was older and some renovation would have made it look even better. Breakfast was also pretty good. Overall a good stay at a good price. "

"Great view from our room. Lovely to sit on balcony overlooking the sea (very close). Wish they had 100% cotton sheets as the mixed fibres ones make me itch. Wish room temp more controllable. Should have walk in showers. Indoor pool and jacuzzi really good."

"Basic hotel in the heart of tourist land. I stayed there because of available parking across the street. Not cheap, but convenient parking. Breakfast was OK. Staff was helpfull. A store next door was easy to get bottled water. Nearby 4 star hotel has a decent buffet. There is also a small sandwich shop next door. Walkable to the center of town, though get a cab on the way back. No a/c till it gets to be summer. The staff were kind enough to provide me with a fan, open the windows and I was a happy camper."

"We love this hotel! This was our third time at Arrayanes Playa Hotel. The location and beach view is perfect. Being on the edge of town gives greater choices for the beach and is just outside of the paid parking zone. We even played ping pong in the recreation room. The staff is friendly and very helpful."

"Not up to par for a 4 star hotel. Bathroom tiles had black mould and I saw 2 earworms on my last morning there. Hotel comped my room service for this because I had photographic proof. However, I don’t believe that really makes up for these hygiene issues. Location is not bad, but nit that close to the tourist highlights such as the Alhambra, viewpoints, and Albaicin"
