Katharinenkirche Oppenheim
Oppenheim, just a short drive from Mainz, is a jewel of a place. It sits above the largest labyrinth in Europe and is a wonderful place to just soak in the charm and character and visit its church - considered in the same category as the cathedrals at Cologne and Strasbourg - but not generally known. This is a Schloss - private home that was once the home and wine cellar of a vintner.
