"Séjour très agréable dans ce gîte calme et très propre, à deux pas du centre d'Oppenau à pied. Le gîte est situé au 1er étage. Il est très bien équipé, la literie agréable, les chambres spacieuses et lumineuses.L'arrivée et le départ ont été simples et rapides, les hôtes discrets et très sympathiques.Il n'y a pas de parking directement devant, mais des places gratuites sont accessibles à proximité.Merci encore pour ce séjour ! "The new decor was very impressive....and the staff were excellent However, the absence of hand soap or equivalent in the room was annoying.....even though you could ask for some at Reception. Finally, the air conditioning was not up to coping with 35C+ temperatures"

"My father and I arrived in Strasbourg on the third hottest day of the extreme heatwave; the following day was the hottest. We had a little trouble finding the hotel because my GPS routed me to a road that was closed, and it was only by accident that I turned onto the correct street. However, when I went inside to check-in, the woman who helped me was incredibly nice. She immediately gave me the code to the garage, told me to unload the car and get my dad inside to keep him cool and only then park and return to complete checking in. She also told me that if Dad had any trouble breathing or was uncomfortable that night, all I needed to do was tell them in the morning and they’d try to move our room to a lower floor (we were on the third floor). That following day, the French health minister warned people to stay indoors and limit outside activity, so we stayed in the hotel all day. Although no rooms have AC, the ground floor does, so we decided to camp out there for the afternoon. Many other guests did, as well. The next day, even though it was to be even hotter, we had but one chance to see the city. As we were checking out, the woman with whom I spoke told me we could let our car in the garage and go explore. She even showed me on the map the quickest way to get to the Strasbourg Cathedral, telling me that it is usually always cool inside and would be a good place to take Dad. We absolutely loved the room, the facilities and the people. The only thing we missed was a fan."

"Such a great hotel. Comfortable, lovely staff, great bed, walkable location and good breakfast. The restaurant only serves food during the week so if you’re feeling like dining in on the weekend, apart from breakfast this isn’t possible. Would happily stay again."

"We were greeted by a very friendly and helpful receptionist who spoke excellent English. She outlined the dinner and breakfast times. The girl in the bar was also very helpful when I asked her about the nearest pharmacy. She looked it up on her phone and showed me on the map. The room was large, clean and comfortable and had a large balcony overlooking the lovely gardens. Our evening meal was tasty and well cooked and there was a nice terrace to sit with drinks before going to bed. The breakfast had a large selection to choose from."

"Excellent boutique hotel in the heart of Strasbourg. The staff were all friendly and approachable. They were helpful. The room was comfortable and clean with good amenities, despite staying in 40 degree temperatures the air conditioning was sufficient!"
