"Friendly welcome from receptionist. Extremely clean apartment- thank you to cleaners. Plenty of milk left in fridge. Convenient location to visit all the wonderful city of Liverpool has to offer. Particularly useful if, like us, you are visiting the underground war rooms - 5 minute walk away. We ate lunch at Manhattan Bar and Grill, also a short walk away. Excellent food, extremely good value."

"The desk staff were on the whole helpful though we were told room 23 on the 3rd floor. The numbers on the doors looked special & we got excited but found out that we should have been on the 2nd floor! A lovely member of staff helped us to find the room & made us feel at home. It was overlooking the main road so had a view towards the Mersey & the docks with a little balcony. A nicely decorated black, white & silver room, though not furnished with any 'White Star Line' artifacts. It had 2 x double beds, which was perfect for us, a kettle & brew items and iron all inside the wardrobe. The bathroom had a lovely waterfall shower but you had to negotiate getting into a large jacuzzi bath to use it! To note: no plug in bath/sink. The inner window in the bathroom could be shut if you stood on the aforemention bath. Very comfortable beds, clean room and great view! We didn't have breakfast so cannot comment but the Grand Hall looked nicely furnished with items of historic memorabelia."
