"What a treat it was to stay in this beautiful hotel! Our room was just beautiful and quite large with a floor to ceiling window looking into the lovely, peaceful courtyard garden. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was huge and the amenities were the best of all the places we stayed at on our trip to Japan! But nothing beats their breakfast spread each morning! My goodness! I loved the bellows of "Ohayō gozaimasu" from the staff when walking to our table each morning, too! The hotel is a block away from the backside of Omicho fish market. You can walk to the front of the market and catch the city bus to temples, restaurants and the Samurai District. There is also a really nice shopping center just across the street from Omicho market (think souvenirs, kimonos and ANOTHER suitcase!) We did walk to the tea district and Kenrokuen Gardens but it is kind of long, but doable, walk. The staff were amazing and they will forward your luggage to your next hotel! Kanazawa was my favorite leg of our trip and this hotel was a big part of that! Highly recommend this place!"
