"We have always used Hampton Inn in Barboursville, WV on our trips in. As always the staff was tremendous, but the breakfast on Sat morning was not up to what we have been accustomed to. Not blaming the staff, but Corporate. We did not get our breakfast there on Sunday, instead opted for the restaurant next door. Hoping things will get better."

"The staff was excellent and the young lady that checked me in was exceptional the whole time. Breakfast was the same each day. Not always warm but was good. The first day it was nicely set up and kept up. The next few days they ran out of food and seemed slow to keep it filled. But quality was good. Pool was cold but very clean. Hot tub was warm. Outside very clean"

"This is our 2nd time staying here. The view of the river is great. Everything was very nice inside the cabin. I really enjoyed my stay. Loved all the humming birds I saw while sitting on the porch. Very nice host and very good at communicating back with us. If you forget anything like shampoo etc. you will find it in the cabin. We will definitely be back again."
