"House was tidy and the property was super nice. You can hear the gullls and even see a bit of Lake Erie from the front yard! The host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable! I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a nice stay in Ashtabula."

"Linda and Gary were fantastic hosts. We were having troubles with the tv sign in and they stopped by on their way back from being out to help us out. We had a wonderful visit with them and got to meet and get to know them first hand. We also saw Gary while we were packing the car to leave and visited with him again. The place was very clean and well kept, and very comfortable and felt like home. Was also in a great location close to the harbor district and great places to eat. Enjoyed visiting the attractions in the area. Definitely will be back."

"We loved this newly renovated cottage for our girls weekend! The location is so convenient, and everything was great. A few things to note: the third bedroom is a finished room in the partially finished basement and there’s no bathroom down there. The en suite shower is about the size of a camper shower but it is very clean! The primary bed is VERY FIRM!! The area around Ashtabula is chock full of fun, so we need to book it again for 4 days instead of 2 to give us time to enjoy the great kitchen and backyard!! We especially enjoyed Walnut Beach, the shops and tavern in Ash Harbor, and Ohio winery country. And be sure to save some calories for Frosty Harbor!!"

"Stellar! We knew it was going to be nice, but it exceeded our expectations. Rachel and Bill are excellent hosts and the property is well appointed. Very tranquil. We even saw a bald eagle. The location is excellent. Close to shopping, attractions and the beaches of Lake Erie. We will definitely be back!"

"We had a great time - the cottage is nicer than the pictures in the listing. The great room was a wonderful place to gather after being out and about all day. The multiple access points to the creek are an excellent perk! Some of us enjoyed fishing and some of us enjoyed wading. Andy is responsive and helpful - we couldn't have asked for more!"
