"The check in could have been smoother. The hotel could have send us the code by Expedia message. But they responded quickly and graciously."

"This hotel services a small country village somewhat off the beaten path and as such does not have all the facilities of a major hotel. There are just a handful of guest rooms, all on a second floor walk up with no lobby. Check-in is done automatically/remotely. Still, it is a very serviceable and pleasant location to stay at when visiting the immediate area. The only request we would make would be to add a blow dryer to the bathroom amenities."

"AC was not working. Called the front desk about the problem, and he asks me to wait 10 minutes. After waiting, I walked up to the front desk to complain and he informs that the room was not occupied for a while so the AC would take some time to get started and asks to wait 10 more minutes, which I do. The wait did not magically bring it back to life. He then proceeds to acknowledge that the AC is broken and I'd have to find a way to adjust. On a hot summer day, I was not ready to do that. So I...
