"The highlight of this property is undoubtedly the spectacular view of Mount Fuji. Waking up to that scenery was unforgettable. I also loved the private onsen in our room overlooking the lake, which was a wonderful way to relax while enjoying the surroundings.
The apartment was spacious and well-equipped, with a washer-dryer, dishwasher, and a large balcony that was perfect for enjoying meals while taking in the views. The location is excellent, within easy reach of the port, Hakone Shrine, and Hakone Gate.
However, there were some disappointments. For the price, I expected the accommodation to feel fresher and better maintained. There were noticeable signs of wear and tear throughout the property, and the living room floor was dusty on arrival. While the onsen itself was fantastic, the waterfall shower had significant limescale build-up, which detracted from the overall experience.
The check-in process was not very clear, and navigating in and out of the building was more difficult than it should have been. The biggest letdown was the bedroom. The beds were not particularly comfortable, and the room felt quite uninspiring, lacking windows, decoration, and the sense of luxury that the rest of the property aims to provide.
Overall, the stunning Mount Fuji views, private onsen, spacious layout, and excellent location make this a memorable stay. However, the maintenance issues, unclear check-in process, and disappointing bedroom meant it fell short of premium quality."
