Great getaway

Beach front cottage

Cute little cottage with perfect decorations.Small but perfect for four.Across the syreet from the rocky part of the beach, but easy drive to sand.

Nice, Cool and Close to Beach

The condo was clean and well-supplied. We had trouble with the washer-dryer combo but got our clothes out. All was nice and just steps away from the ocean. Right on the boardwalk. Two parking spots was amazing! I would definately stay again! We were just there two days but we surely enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful stay!

We really enjoyed our stay in this little gem of a place. Small, clean, cute and perfect for our needs. Even though it doesn’t face the beach, it’s right outside your door! Easy instructions to get in. Will definitely come again!

We booked this for myself my wife daughter and her boyfriend sadly he broke his ankle so could not make it. Place was great easy to access clean great location! We also loved the game game Sorry that was there we played this ruthless game and laughed out hearts out. Great place Nick!!

Great location and cozy getaway

My kids and I loved staying here, the location made it perfect for teenagers who want to sleep in on vacation, and a mom who does not! We did a lot of back and forth and it was so easy. The condo was cozy and the owners were very good at communicating. Having a dedicated parking spot was a huge bonus!

Beach front property!

Our family had a great time using this beach front property that was just about a 15 yard walk to the water from the parking garage. Easy access to the property with entrances from the beach or street above. Plenty of options for dining that are both adult and family friendly. Will be staying again in future family trips.

Was visiting a friend in Oceanside and found this property right on the beach. Everything about the property was great. Nick was very responsive with any questions. Be aware, this unit is not one of the units that has access to one of the three decks facing the ocean but it was a 30 second walk down the stairs to have direct beach access. Next time I visit Oceanside, I would definitely stay here again.

Better area than expected.

The home was lovely, just enough space for our family of six. The listing is as advertise no surprises besides. Hows close it was to the beach and the road its on is a one way road with a large walk and bicycle way. And the beach near it is not so big so is doesnt get as packed as larger beaches. A park on the shore a 5 min walk. Its location was better than expected. A lot better

At least the location was great.

Mold was on the ceilings and has been painted over. One bed had sand between the sheets and the other bed had a busted glass underneath it. Windows were kept closed with duct tape so there was no ventilation. Definitely did not want to hang out in the apartment but location was great.

Spiders in dark corners in hall leading up to the apt. All the stove ( electric stove) burners were tilted. The stove's right back burner gave my brother a shock, and threw sparks. I didn’t know we had to walk over yards of river rock that dipped down to get to the beach directly across from the condo. It was a few min walk to get to easy beach access. Our 1st time on the strand. Won’t be back. Other than that we loved the beach. The condo was fairly comfortable. The floors were Sandy, and there was no hair dryer. Glad I brought my own

Excellent Value - Wonderful Host

Stayed with my two boys before they deploy as I have family in Oceanside. We normally stay with family inland but I wanted this to be a special trip. The location is fabulous. Walking distance to the pier, grass and playground a hop, skip, and a jump away if you are taking kids. Walk out the side door, down the driveway, cross a boardwalk street (Very slow speed limit and lots of pedestrians so not dangerous, great for people watching), over some beach stones and toes in the sand. I drive a Traverse and it fit in the driveway. Anything with a long bed though, you may not fit. There is a washer/dryer combo but hang your towels and suite and shirts from the patio for quicker and a natural dry. Water pressure is fabulous, plenty of fans, pots/pans and standard dishes available. Bring your own cooking needs (spices, oil, beverages, etc). The grocery stores are convenient. Ignite coffee is the best and only a few minutes drive. I had a special situation and the host was extremely accommodating and understanding. Very responsive. Would love to visit again.

Great location

Great location to the beach. Plenty of great food within walking distance. Bonus, if you are there on a Thursday, there is a nice farmers market on Pier View. Condo was very nice and comfortable. Nick was always available for questions you may have. Outside, there was a foot shower to clean off the sand before going in. I only wish I would have spent more time at the beach instead of going to amusement parks that my kids wanted to do. Next time I'll spend more time there. A few things that you should know. The beach immediately in front of the condo is not very accessible, but only a about 2-3 minute walk down the beach to get to the sand. Also, the meter maid came around and told one of the other renters that our vehicles needed to be short enough to fit within the the imaginary line with the light poles. Our Honda Pilot was too big, but I could park it in the garage, so not an issue, but if your vehicle is larger, you may have a parking issue. I would definitely stay here again.

Construction Nightmare

My family stayed here 6/23-6/26/22. Beyond livid with this rental. We were not informed that they were remodeling the unit above. So when we arrived we were greeted by large chunks of plaster falling on our heads from two stories above. Entered the steps to the unit to be greeted by an odor which lingered into the unit itself. Reached out to the owner about the construction, “Oh sorry about that”. Day 2. Woken up by hammering. Leaving the unit we have to scream up to the workers so they don’t rain plaster on us but still have to wade thru a walkway covered in plaster and whatever else has fallen from above where they are working. Lunchtime Friday the owner says we can leave with a refund minus the fees (which was a significant amount to loose) if we wanted to go somewhere else. But says the workers will be done Friday at close of business hours. So we decide to just stay at this point, we are unpacked, going to lose the fees, have the hassle of trying to find another place where we will have to pay more fees and we are almost done with the workers being there anyway, so we thought. Nope Saturday morning at 8 am woken up by hammering, them using the outside water spigot, and banging drywall into the front door as they go up the stairs. Reach out the owner at this point and he says “at least the beach isn’t under construction”. I felt like he should give us some sort of discount on our stay for having to deal with all this. It was so annoying and not to mention not safe having to walk under their construction zone coming and going. But anyway, as far as the condo, the only thing it has going for it is that it is right across the street from the beach. Other than that it smells, the mattresses are terrible (ours was so bowed in the middle it was ridiculous), the pillows so thick you will break your neck on them, and the decor is sadly in need of a remodel. Beware of this rental. Better ask the owner the status of the construction as they were not forthcoming about what was going on during our stay, unless your idea of relaxing is listening to constant hammering and dodging construction debris when you try to come and go. This owner did not care about making sure his guests were safe. He also straight out lied to us about them not working on Saturday. Stay somewhere else.

It would have been perfect

Stayed here for a writer retreat with a friend. It would have been great except when we first checked in we opened a drawer and there was a stack of religious pamphlets from an extremely racist group. It was incredibly jarring and darkened what would have been an otherwise good stay. Very disappointing and would never stay here again.
