"Everything was perfect! We stayed a week and picked the perfect location to be in. The District has several restaurants, coffee shops, breakfast places, ice cream and dessert shops, and shopping all within a block. You can easily walk everywhere. Also has movie theater and bowling ally. Easy parking in back and easier in the front. The Residence Inn’s rooms are perfect with large kitchen (fully stocked) and great living area. Bathrooms are spacious with large walk in showers. Plenty of closet and drawer space. The whole hotel was spotless. Good variety at breakfast. Staff was extra friendly. John especially gives above and beyond service. The breakfast ladies are always smiling! A bit pricey but well worth the location. We will be back!"

"My husband and I stayed in this lovely home with another couple. We were visiting our children at ISU. Our stay was relaxing and offered a perfect spot for us to enjoy meals and unwind. We spent time in both Ames and Des Moines during our stay. The home was very clean. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and the ping pong table. The host was friendly and very accommodating. We will definitely look into staying at this home again. "
