"We had a great week staying in this excellent cottage in the lovely town of Southwell. Everything is to a high standard inside, really comfortable bed and couch, great shower, very fast internet and a smart TV in the living room. The wood burner was great as well. Nice the cottage has a freezer too as many places only have a fridge. Check out time is 11 which we appreciated and is so much nicer than 9 which is the norm with many other cottages. We hope to stay again!"

"What an absolute delight. This hidden jem of a property is the perfect place to escape from the world for some time spent in the tranquility of nature. Set within a secure acre filled with fruit trees, the property was perfect for myself and my dogs. The cabin itself is perfectly formed with everything you need and built with love. The hosts are lovely, friendly and accommodating. I would absolutely recommend this property for a short break and plan to visit again! "

"The stay was excellent considering the owners high level of care and lovely property. No problem there. VRBO on the other hand mislead us by assuring us that the property was mobility accessible which it was not.. This created significant problems for the severely dialed member of the group and the carer. We double checked accessibility just weeks prior to arrival date and were again assured the property was accessible. It was not."

"The hotel was easy to find and we parked up early and walked into town which was very close by until our rooms were ready. The room itself was spacious with seating area and lovely views of the gardens - we were on the first floor of the separate block. The room was clean with complimentary tea & coffee, etc., and there was a hairdryer, an iron and ironing board. The bed was kingsize and very comfortable, the shower was hot and powerful and really there was nothing to complain about other than the window was difficult to keep open, but there was a fan available. We had a meal in the Orangery which was delicious, the breakfast was lovely too and we had drinks in the bar all of which was very reasonable priced, bearing in mind usual hotel prices. Every single member of staff was efficient and personable and the hotel should be proud of them. All in all we had the perfect stay and would highly recommend the hotel, its amenities and staff."

"I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, making it a great place to relax after a long day. The location was also very convenient, especially for anyone travelling by electric car, as there is a rapid EV charger nearby. This made charging the car easy and hassle-free during stay. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit, which made the experience even better. Overall, a comfortable room, convenient location, and excellent service made this a very enjoyable stay. I would happily stay here again."

"the room was clean, with a great shower room newly refurbished. The bar was busy but a good atmosphere. we had dinner in Platform 3 the restaurant just off the bar. the meal was good quality and plentiful. I a a coeliac and often find it hard to have a choice when eating out but on this occasion I was able to have a choice of 4 mains. The bar has a good selection of drinks and real ales. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Although it was opposite the train station and next to the line it was quite quiet and didn't disturb us. the car park wasn't very big (only room for around 12 cars but that was sufficient. The only down point we could find is that the water in the room was not drinking water but they had left 2 bottles of water for us to use."
