Stayed with friends and kids. Kids enjoyed the boat, didn’t go far but it was a nice touch! Kitchen was really well equipped to cook a full New Year’s Day lunch for the 8 of us, shame it’s already booked for next new year!
We booked the property to celebrate an 80th birthday. Couldn't have wished for better. The ground floor bedroom and bathroom were ideal as one of our party was disabled. All the family really enjoyed their stay. It was situated in a quiet residential area and within walking distance of a variety of shops, pub and other eateries. Being on the waterfront was an added bonus. It was hilarious watching my daughter and son in law trying to row the tender. Our little dog also enjoyed her stay. Plenty of nice walks close by. It's a memory that we will treasure. Thank you.
Excellent property. Everything you need in the kichen. No shortage of utensiles. Very clean. Ample parking for 3 cars on drive. Short walk to shops, pub etc. Plenty garden furniture and good size garden.Would stay again 100%
What can I say this house was a little gem! The accommodation was fantastic everything you needed. Hired a boat for the afternoon stopped at the pub. Great stay can definitely recommend the house and it’s great location.
We all very much enjoyed our stay .Brightside was absolutely first class accommodation and very comfortable.
We are trying to decide dates to return again in November next year.
Would recommend to everybody.

Lovely holiday home!
Really great stay! The house was lovely and clean, enough space for everyone. Garden and views were lovely and very peaceful! Very close walking distance to shops. Only improvement would be the beds were very hard. Overall a very lovely house and lovely location, would come back again.
An excellent place to stay lots to do and see .the property is fantastic in every way .location is great easy access to shops etc etc ..I would thoroughly recommend a stay here .
Brilliant, what a place, we went for a quiet anniversary break thought it was cut shor T with the lockdown the area is special to us and that and this beautiful house certainly didn’t diss appoint , we will be back real soon
Brightside was everything we needed and much more. The house was well furnished and had all that was needed for a comfortable stay. We especially liked the american fridge freezer for cool water and ice on those warm summer days!!
Lovely property great location
Felt homely from the start. Easy check in
Only negative comment is where others used the hob it had grease on the cupboards above.
The rest of the property was very clean.
Showers excellent and clean.
Bed we’re comfortable and clean.
Would recommend and hope to return at some point.
Lovely house, plenty of space for 8 people although we were only a party of 4 due to Covid. We went out for lunches and evening meals as that was our choice, but the facilities at Bright Side for cooking are spot on, so well equipped. Comfortable beds and powerful showers, we all loved it and have booked again for later this year. Highly recommend.
Lovely situated property! Did find the lounge a bit over crowded with furniture and would of liked more blinds or curtains up as felt quite vulnerable especially as early winter nights, bedrooms and bathrooms comfortable and clean, sofas need a good clean in between cushions as full of things other people have left behind! Lovely modern clean kitchen!
Hosts easy to contact and will resolve any problems.
Summer here would be lovely as you can open bifolds for more space overlooking the river
Lovely house, quiet and comfortable except for the beds. All the beds in the house were the same, a slab of unforgiving foam atop a wooden base, what a shame. The short walk to the village was just perfect and the garden was just right for sunny relaxation.
Lovely weekend spent here. Everything from the booking process to the check out was made stress free. Accommodation was very spacious, we were a group of 7 adults and enough space to enjoy it. Great location, walking distance to shops and pubs. We hired a boat for the day wuich made our stay even better. Would reccomend this place to anyone.
The house is very well equipped and has lovely outside space. Located in a quiet residential area and next to the river with plenty of wildlife. Walking distance to restaurants, cafes and boat hire etc. Are group was two active couples in our 60s and enjoyed our stay in the area. The property may not be suitable for families with small children as it has the river at the bottom of the garden and is not fenced off.
