"Clean property, nice people, decent amenities, mediocre location - The Hotel North Pole is probably the best place to stay in North Pole. You have to set your expectations to the location. This is a very small town outside of the "larger small town" of Fairbanks. The entire region is very industrial. Gravel parking lots and heavy equipment abound. This location is at the end of a stip mall parking lot. We thought North Pole was some kind of of quaint little town like you'd see in New England....
"Great location for a nice stay away from downtown Fairbanks. Debbie was very gracious and welcoming. Breakfast was great. Wealth of information available for adventures."
"Looked nice, nice atmosphere but low beams on ceiling caused me a headache! Yes, the owner warned me about them but when you wake up and stand up it's not the first thing on your mind. Perhaps foam on the corners edges would be an idea as there are marks from several prior guests that likely hit their heads on the same beams.
We had a very early departure so were unable to partake in the breakfast but the owner kindly brought us some breakfast cereals the night before for us...nice of her."
