"One night stay so a small double allocated. Newly refurbished - very nicely done. Breakfast o.k. but evening meal in the pub was pricey, small portions and not particularly well cooked or presented! All 4 of us felt the same and given 2 were locals. not impressed. Sorry. "

"Had a lovely few days away. This place was amazing from start to end: brilliant value for money. No they don’t have an onsite restaurant at the moment but The Union Inn is. 5 minute drive and the food is fabulous there. "

"The room was spacious with nice furnishings. We had a view over the beach towards the south. The bathroom was good with a deep bath and an over bath shower. The bed was really comfortable. We'd definitely go back."

"Amazing staff. Unbelievably friendly, helpful and nothing is too much for them and they look smart and very well spoken. The room was absolutely amazing, nice and clean. It's amazing how so many original features are still there. The ghost walk and the self guided tour was also fantastic. We will certainly be back as we want to do the after hours tour. Couldn't ask for a better service or place to stay 😊"
