"Room needs a good deep cleaning. Floor was really dirty. Sticky. Caked on dust on interior doors and floor boards. Found pills and empty cans under bed."

"Would have given only one star had the staff not been so helpful and accommodating. We went through 3 rooms. First 2 smelled like smoke so we didn’t check the rooms. The third room, the slide bathroom door was on the floor so we couldn’t open and close the door. Shower door broken. Fire detector hanging off the wall. They gave is another room for our second night. Things worked ok. The rooms need major updates. We didn’t want to walk on the floor in the room without something on our feet."

"While our suite was very clean and spacious and our requested crib was waiting in the room for us, we found the free breakfast awful and lacking and very, very poorly organized. Food selection was not great. No fruit at all other than Granny Smith apples by the reception desk. Yogurt came out of a dispenser and was pretty bad. Breakfast hours are supposed to be 7-10a, but when we came down at 9:15 one morning there was nothing left and staff said they weren’t bringing more food out, so we had to go out for breakfast. The cutlery is hidden by the waffle station, which is always packed so if you’re not getting waffles, it’s hard to get to the silverware. And trash cans are in the back corner rather than anywhere near the exit area so lots of people tend to leave their dishes and trash on the tables. It just seems like if the space was better organized, it would be easier for everyone to find what they need. One plus was they had high chairs, which we found lacking in many restaurants in the uptown area."

"I hate to leave a review like this but others should know before booking. Pictures and descriptions of the hotel are misleading. Pool was dirty with white residue in corners. The ceiling in our room had dark spots, water or mold. The grout in the bathroom was moldy. The hotel advertised breakfast but after checking in the hotel clerk told us they do not offer breakfast. We were originally given a room already assigned to another woman. Thank goodness she had her door locked because who knows that we would have walked in on. The entire third floor smelt like cigarette smoke. They charge a daily resort fee for parking and beach wagons. The sofa beds are basically wire, barely a mattress. The wall lights flicker when the door closes like an old motel. On the flip side, the positives are they give free drink tickets at check in and It’s close to the beach."
