"This was an amazing hotel, we stayed in an igloo and it was magical. We were lucky to see the Northern Lights from our room, I will never forget falling asleep to such a magical nature moment!! "Super-friendly, helpful staff. No problems with speaking English. Was able to launder all of my clothes after the airline soaked my soft-sided luggage with water of unknown quality. The hotel was close to some nice hiking trails, and it was possible to book a "midnight sun" hike at the front desk. Both restaurants in the hotel were good, and the free breakfast was just about the best free breakfast anywhere. Swedish pancakes with a variety of toppings, and smoked salmon were available. Ginger shots for your juice! The view from many of the windows in the hotel was breathtaking. Will definitely return someday. Transportation from the airport in Kirula is either a bit expensive or a bit inconvenient depending on which option you choose. Plan ahead."
