A charming, modern, and comfortable vacation rental right in the heart of the “Water City” of Nordhorn, overlooking the Vechte River.
The Vechte-Glück was newly built in 2021 and impresses with its beautiful interior design as well as its central location right on the waterfront and next to the city park. This lovely studio has everything your heart desires: a beautiful bathroom, a small, high-quality kitchen, a dining table with comfortable chairs, and a balcony with outdoor seating. BOOK, ENJOY, AND UNWIND ;)

This newly built apartment is located on the first floor and measures approximately 35 m².

You’ll find a cozy room with a sleeper sofa, a high-quality, fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, and a seating area. You’ll also find a modern bathroom with a shower. The balcony, which overlooks the Vechte River, features a cozy seating area that invites you to relax.

The building itself does not have a parking space. For parking, we offer our guests the option to park their cars in our private parking lot (approx. 150 m away) at Hagenstraße 25/Alte Bleiche 5. Vehicles must be parked at an angle in front of the signs marked “Avetisyan” and with the front of the vehicle flush against the wooden fence.

A washing machine and dryer are, of course, available to our guests free of charge. Both machines are located in the garage. The gate can be operated using the switch in the entryway/hallway.

Nordhorn is situated on the Vechte River and borders directly on the Netherlands. Be inspired by the cultural offerings of the “water city” of Nordhorn and enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings and the wonderful biking and hiking trails along and on the water. Guests are also welcome to visit the zoo, which is open year-round, or take a boat tour on the Vechte River aboard one of the passenger boats. From the Nordhorn-Klausheide glider and crop-duster airfield, you can explore the “water city” of Nordhorn from the air. For those interested in culture, the city also offers museums, cultural events, and exhibitions. The traditional city festivals are also particularly popular.

House Rules


Dear Guests,
we warmly welcome you to our vacation rental and wish you an eventful and relaxing stay!

With our accommodation, we aim to provide you with the foundation for carefree and relaxing days. To ensure this is always possible, it is necessary that our guests are familiar with and adhere to the house rules. By making your reservation, you accept these house rules and agree to ensure that you and all your traveling companions comply with them. We thank you in advance for your cooperation!

QUIET HOURS

In our vacation rental, public quiet hours—such as the midday and Sunday quiet hours—must be observed. Out of consideration for others and to maintain good neighborly relations, guests must also observe quiet hours daily from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.


SMOKING

Smoking is not permitted in our vacation rental or anywhere in the building. Please go outside and use an ashtray there. Please dispose of completely cooled-out cigarette butts in the general waste. If any burn marks or holes occur, please report this to us, the property owner, immediately. As the tenant, you are responsible for covering the repair costs for any resulting damage.


INTERNET

Free internet access is available in our vacation rental. You will receive the access code upon arrival. Use of this internet access is at your own risk. We, as the property owner, assume no liability whatsoever for any of your activities on the internet.





PETS

Pets are permitted in our vacation rental upon prior arrangement and notification. Please ensure that your pet stays away from furniture, such as sofas or beds, while in the vacation rental. In addition, it is your responsibility to clean up any mess caused by your pet. Please also note that pets must be kept on a leash in certain areas of the house and the surrounding area.


VISITORS


For safety reasons,. If visitors are also staying overnight in the vacation rental, you must notify the landlord in advance. You can register visitors by phone or email. A fee of
20 euros will then be charged per visitor per night. Visitors must also comply with these house rules.


EVENTS AND PARTIES

Large events and parties are strictly prohibited. Any gathering of several people in our vacation rental must comply with the relevant provisions of these house rules.


WASTE SEPARATION AND DISPOSAL

Since we are required to separate waste, we ask that you also sort your trash in our vacation rental. Appropriate disposal options are available for organic waste, paper, plastic, general waste, and glass. New trash bags are also provided in the vacation rental, which you should use as needed. In addition, never flush food scraps, trash, or hygiene products down the toilet or other drains. Dispose of your trash exclusively in the containers provided for that purpose.


SECURITY

For security reasons, all entrance doors to the vacation rental must be kept locked at all times. In addition, all entry doors must be locked with a key when leaving the house. Windows should also be closed when leaving the vacation rental and at night. For fire safety, please ensure that escape routes are not blocked. Heating, lights, and other appliances should always be turned off when not in use. This also applies to electrical appliances.

Ventilation
To help prevent the spread of infection, it is necessary to ventilate the vacation rental adequately. To do this, open the windows several times a day for 5 to 10 minutes. This effectively prevents mold growth.

Outdoor Area
Outdoor items, such as umbrellas or similar items, must be closed during strong winds and overnight to prevent damage and ensure your safety.

Barbecues/Fireplaces
Equipment involving open flames may only be used by adults. For fire safety reasons, please also refrain from barbecuing with charcoal or fire accelerants. Once cooled, dispose of the ashes and other debris in the general waste.

PARKING

During your stay with us in the vacation rental, appropriately marked parking spaces for your car. Please make sure that you do not block other vehicles, neighbors, or sidewalks when parking. Please also note that, as the rental company, we are not liable for vehicles parked in the parking lot or their contents.


CLEANING

You are responsible for cleaning the vacation rental yourself during your stay. This is not included in the final cleaning service. The necessary cleaning supplies and equipment are available in the vacation rental for you to use. There are also some cleaning tasks to be completed before departure. These are listed in the “Check-in and Check-out” section.


DAMAGE

Any damage caused to the vacation rental must be reported to the landlord as soon as possible. We cannot accept claims for damage discovered only after your departure. In the case of minor damage, such as a broken glass, we, as the landlord, will cover the cost of replacement. However, you, as the tenant, are liable for major damage to the furnishings or the vacation rental. To prevent damage, please refrain from moving furniture and avoid other potential sources of danger.


KEYS


Upon arrival, you will receive 1 key to the vacation rental. Please never let the keys out of your possession. If you lose the keys, please report this to us immediately. A fee of 90 euros will be charged to cover the cost of replacing the keys, which you, as the renter, are responsible for paying.

CHECK-IN- AND DEPARTURE


To ensure that the vacation rental is perfectly prepared for our guests, you may check in on the day of arrival starting at 3:00 p.m.

On the day of departure, the vacation rental must be vacated by 10:00 a.m. and left in good condition. This includes:

0 Empty the refrigerator and wipe it down dry
0 Wash the dishes and return them to their proper places, dry
0 Dispose of any remaining food
0 Dispose of household trash in the designated trash bins
0 Clean any appliances and facilities used, if necessary
0 Neatly stow away any furniture used
0 Turn off all electrical appliances (except the refrigerator)
0 Sweep the rooms you used in the vacation rental
0 Lock all doors


These house rules are intended to ensure that you enjoy as pleasant and safe a stay as possible in our vacation rental. Compliance with the house rules is therefore essential.
