"On prior years' visits, the experience was much better. Unfortunately, the hotel has deteriorated this from the smaller to bigger aspects: prices have increased, service decreased e.g. no drinking water in the deluxe room, restaurant food not good/over priced, they allowed a very loud high school graduation party in the central area, which was bad enough on a Friday evening, but instead of ending at 11 pm it went past 1 am (many guests complained), and the reservations department was unfriendly...

"We stayed in a nice large ocean front room with very effective AC (thank heavens) up on the 4th floor, good views, comfortable bed and a delicious breakfast. There is a nice water front side walk that goes either to the Marina (and beyond) or down to a stretch of mostly sand beach.
