A bit outdated and hard worn sheets but I slept really well. I asked about dinner and the owner said yes 7:30. "Je ne peux pas juger de la piscine car l'hotel ne m'a pas reçu après avoir réserver ma chambre par HOTEL.COM. J'ai donc eu des frais pour un hébergement dont je n'ai pas jouie, soit environ 85 €. J'ai du cherche un hébergement en urgence la nuit même. Hotel.com n'a pas défendu SON CLIENT, il a juste éviter toutes discussions pour ne pas à avoir à monter au créneau auprès de l'hotel "Une pause au Logis". "We were a family of 5. The weather meant the pool was used everyday and was so valuable! Kitchen had everything we needed. The inside living spaces were a good size and the games room was enjoyed. Although with the hot weather nothing beats outside. Worth noting 2 of the bedrooms were across the house through the games room and dining room. This still left four rooms near each other if kids don't want to be far away but just a mention. All rooms were brilliant and spacious. We would stay again and could easily bring friends and still have space!"

"I was tempted to leave a terrible review to put everyone else off but that seemed perhaps a little unfair. This was the most magical, wonderful place to spend time with our children who were utterly entranced with the ponds and loved every moment in the pools. By day #2, one of our 7 year olds was asking if there are schools nearby and could we just live here? Beautiful gardens, fabulous wildlife (learning the French for hedgehog!), late sunsets and a lovely host. Thank you. "

"At first there was a bit of a mixup regarding accommodation but the owner went out of her way to rectify the situation & was more than helpful. Had a very nice meal at a local restaurant Contine. The breakfast which was included was very good with home made preserves etc. Parking on the street wasn't a problem at all. Would recommend staying in this beautiful historic small chateau. Thank you."
