"First off, this is a favela, and it’s amazing. The views are unreal, the space is comfortable, and it’s easy to just stay here all day and not want to leave. That said, it *is* still a favela, so come prepared. If you have multiple bags, use Google Translate to arrange a motorbike or van to get up the hill.
