I stayed in Oak Room and it was very cute - decor fit the house while walls, bathrooms had clearly been renovated or updated as needed. A very well-stryck balance between updated and historic. "

"It wasn't planned however when the need to find a temporary home in Upstate New York, this cottage fit all our needs. They allowed pets and we frequently travel with our animals. Our dog loved running around in the snow. The cottage was welcoming and warm. We slept like babies and enjoyed a nice and quiet Christmas day away from the hustle and bustle. The hosts were quick and responsive, and we enjoyed talking with them. Our dog even found a friend in Ollie to run around with. There was nothing we found wanting and I can only imagine how beautiful the woods will be in the other seasons. I highly recommend this place for a quiet get away."

"The ADK Getaway "Pine Tree Retreat" was as-advertised, and the experience was outstanding!! Everything necessary is provided for the stay and the establishment was very clean. The host was gracious enough to decorate for Christmas, including stockings above the fireplace, and a tree - it was the perfect touch to providing a warm place to spend vacation away from home. We would absolutely stay again. "
