Newman Lake is beautiful. This house has a quirky layout but it fit our group. We really enjoyed the large living space and windows to the deck with the lake beyond. We would especially love this in the summer! Have a private dock for swimming or water activity is wonderful.

The property is located on a lake. The house number was not visible. The exterior of the property was dirty with thick cobwebs around the entrance. The windows were dirty. We did not see the inside. There was no cell service in the area so we were unable to communicate with host. Not a good experience.

Fun times

We had a great time!! they had AC and a fan in the bedroom. Caught a couple fish off the dock I bought my own poles but they had some there if you wanted to fish they also had some floating toys lots of outside chairs,bbq, there's sand on the beach. We also rented a pawntoon for 2 and did some morning fishing. Wasn't to far from the casino we also went to silverwood for the day was the perfect spot.Enjoyed the sunset's and sunrise

Overall cleaning could use improvement. We had to wash the sheets the first night on three beds. There were no flat sheets on two twin beds and there was only a bedspread which was not washed since it was the cover sheet/bedspread? all beds have mattress slick protective covers on them, so the fitted sheets don't stay put. All bathroom towels were washed but we needed to put both bathrooms sets in the dryer because they were still to damp for use. Kitchen has non-microwave dishes so be aware. Fridge door needs to be reversed it's on the wrong side, easy fix and doesn't cost anything. holes are there to do so. It blocks walk through to bedrooms and bathroom. Not adequate flatware, there was only four butter knives. table had food in grooves, BBQ was so dirty we ended up not using it even after we tried and gave up on our cleaning efforts. We even tried to use the vacuum but the canister was over full, and it didn't work like it should. We were there to vacation not clean. The dock and beach were great. So that helped a lot. I would suggest fans for cooling in the summer, no AC downstairs. This place would be a good fit for a family, but a better cleaning effort is needed.

Newman Lake Cabin Stay

What a great location! The view of the lake was outstanding. We also have never stayed in a more well-stocked VRBO. Making meals was a breeze. Also appreciated the little things like shampoo and body wash in the showers. It's such a hassle to pack those things. The beds and pillows were top-notch, another highly important luxury. That's probably #1 in importance. No one wants to end their vacation with sore backs and necks. The price during off-season was very appealing. We will definitely go back!

Good value

This house isn't super fancy, but the setting is lovely and the price was right for a sweet getaway with 4 girlfriends

Girls' Trip Weekend

My girlfriends and I chose this house for our annual girls trip. The house was perfect for us. The three bedrooms allowed us to spread out. The dining table was large enough we could all eat together and play games. The weather was gorgeous the weekend we stayed, so we spent lots of time outside on the back deck. In the evening there were deer that came into the yard. In the morning, we walked along the dock, the mist coming off the lake was postcard worthy! This house was great, the lake was beautiful, an easy drive into town. I would stay here again.

Vacation with Grandkids

Lake Time

Appreciated being able to stay at a home on the lake with internet available. Enjoyed spending time at the waterfront. Owner even reached out when there was a power outage in the area to make sure everything was okay with us and the rental.

Great getaway!

We rented this property with family and friends because we were in town for a dance competition. This house was clean and had great beach access at the lake! The house had all the amenities you could possibly need. We were all very comfortable in our beds as well. Communication with the owner was easy and he made sure we had everything needed to feel at home. We will definitely consider staying here again next time we are in the Spokane area! 😊
