"Lovely large house, good location for families. Close to small beaches & historic sights. We would have like if the house had instructions for using the appliances, and had labeled the keys for the doors & windows (there are many!). "

"Had a great stay but the set up for using spa area and pool is very poor for hotel guests , been going here for 5 years now and always enjoyed using hot tub etc now it’s 2 hr slots Had to book spa day and when time was up tried to pay for another 2 hrs but told fully booked even though place only had 12 people using , will find new place to go next year as only good for 1 night now unless u wish to pay extra £300 for spa day "

"Lovely house, very clean. Way bigger than we needed.We weren't very lucky with the weather, but the house was a nice place to relax and just get a change of scene.There's not much in Cardross itself, so most activities need a car or train trip. Plenty to do within a reasonably short journey though."

"The host was attentive, but the place was under renovation, and he didn’t tell us ahead of time. There were holes in the walls, the shelves were dirty and the whole air was dingy. We had to ask for a kettle and pots and pans. There was no sponge or fairy liquid or sponge to clean the plates. The cooker didn’t work; we had to wait until the night (11 pm) for it to work. It was not as advertised."
