An excellent choice for our stay in NYC. Great customer service. We loved the hotel ambience and the location was close to Bryant Park and the theaters. We will definitely visit again and recommend to our friends.

This is a relatively high priced hotel located in the center of the theater district on a quiet street. The bed was both clean and comfortable. The bathroom was also clean. However, the carpet was filthy. It may have been vacuumed, but it had dirt stains all over it, and you couldn't be in the room without noticing it. I do a set of exercises every morning and looked forward to using the fitness center, but unfortunately it was closed when we were there. Consequently, I did my best to do some exercises on the carpet. Fortunately, they had 3 bath towels in the room for the two of us, and I could put a towel down when doing exercises on the floor. A few months ago, we went to New York for our granddaughter's graduation from Columbia and stayed in a hotel that was a couple hundred dollars per night less than the Chatwal and to which I could give a 5 star rating. I will not return to the Chatwal.

Wonderful place to stay in NYC!

Great location (walked almost everywhere we went) and friendly staff! Room service included the best cheeseburger I have ever tasted anywhere! Very comfortable bed and bedding and a wonderful waterfall shower.

Incredible hotel

Incredible boutique hotel with all the BEST room amenities, for example heated toilet seat. Also, the best hotel for theatre tickets due to being close to all venues
