"The property was just “ok”, nothing special. The grounds around the hotel were not kept clean and there was only a very small patch of grass - if you are traveling with a dog. The noise from the highway is the deal breaker - loud, very loud - all night long. The pillows were nice, but again, could not sleep much with all the noise."

"We have stayed there many times. The breakfast was great. We had a reservation for the luxury room and was given the standard room. Total surprise to us that we did not get what we reserved. We were so tired that we didn’t go back down to talk to them. Tried to talk to them in the morning but no one was at the front desk. If they would have just told us that there they were overbooked, we would have understood. We will be back. It is a great hotel. "

"This is the perfect of “Don’t judge a book by it cover” when I pulled in parking lot and only a box truck insight so I was a little nervous. After checking in with front desk lady that was so nice and respective. I headed to the room still nervous, I open door and the room is completely remodeled and looks nice. After checking for bugs like I always do I never found any and was happy with it. The rooms are a little small along with shower and such but I would recommend this place. I would stay here again with no hesitation. Great rate $85 a night for double bed."

"It is a beautiful cabin and the decor was fabulous! The hot tub was just right. I guess I did not realize that there was no TV. I was ok with that but when the tornado sirens started going off we were at loss as to what the weather was doing. It was scary but hey we made it through it. I feel that if we had a radio of some sort we would hear all the updates. Next time I will bring a radio or even my laptop. Luckly for us there were just high winds and a thunderstorm but we made it through. I did bring in the pillows from the front porch and moved the heavy bench to hold the outside rug in place, so sorry I forgot to move that back when we left today. "A bit disappointed. The lobby was filled with a messy pallet of boxes. Something had tracked in or spilled all over the floor and was there for 2 days without being touched it seemed. My room was fine but smelled like sewage in the bathroom. The valve for the shower was broken so I had both shower and bathtub running at the same time. Breakfast was fairly well stocked with standard items and take aways which was nice. Would have a higher rating if the building appeared to be properly staffed. "
