More business than boutique hotel, but friendly, clean, and modern with spacious rooms. "if you want a youth hostel experience at hotel prices this is the place. The rooms are tiny and poorly ventilated, so must be very hot in high summer. The toilets and showers are shared in classic hostel style. I expect the hotel thinks the décor is quirky. The staff are friendly, but nothing can help this. Next time I'll stay in the Premier Inn!"

"We arrived early, hoping to drop out cases until check-in time whilst we began exploring the city. In the event we were offered an upgrade to a larger room that was ready for occupation, which of course we accepted. The room was large and comfortable, with a comfortable seating area and very comfortable beds. The room was a little too hot on the first night, but we turned the thermostatic valves on all of the radiators down to "frost protect" and it was much more comfortable on our second night. We had booked breakfast inclusive and we pleased with the range of items offered. A real bonus was the availability of complimentary hot drinks throughout the day (until 9pm). The staff were very friendly and helpful. A really pleasurable stay in a good location to explore the city."
