"This is an excellent house in superb state of repair with very good quality furniture. It is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The booking process was simple and Martin Wardle of the agents was extremely helpful. The house is situated in a village which is very near Kendal, the lakes and just over one hour to the Solway coast. There are some very good dining places in the area with our favourite being The Watermill Inn which has its own micro brewery producing very tasty beers. All in all...

"Lovely decor, had a mix of modern and rustic which was lovely and some of the stone wall original features. It had everything you need, was warm and comfy. Beds were comfy and the shower was really good too. Lovely touch leaving little gift for the dogs, and the communication with the host was very good. We would rebook if we return to the area!"

"Everything was perfect and amazing thank you so much definitely will go again"

"Unbelievable apartment!!! What a find, from the moment I found The Rockefeller on Expedia to arrival through to the end of the stay everything was the best!! Not going to gointo much detail as wouldn’t want to ruin anybody else’s experience but I will say you won’t be disappointed, everything about the apartment is funky, design led and luxurious from the furnishings to the artwork and even the kitchen and bathroom are of the highest spec. Centrally located with ample parking pretty much...

"Was a nice and easy check in, very nice place and spacious enough, had everything we’d need.. only problem was the lack of cleanliness. Cob webs everywhere, dust and debris on the chairs and in creases of the bedroom suede walls, spiders in corners and cutlery provided has old food hardened within the cuts of the forks as it hasn’t been cleaned properly and left. Toilet also splashes water all over the seat when flushing causing the lid to be splattered with toilet water after every flush."

"Good location just a couple of minutes from the lakeside. Parking place certainly helps in this popular location. Clean, comfortable property that has everything that you would need."

"A lovely apartment in a great location; ideal for the eateries, bars and shops in Windermere village. The flat was comfortable with a central living area that is ideal for relaxing and dining. The bedrooms are a good size with comfy double beds and plenty of storage space."

"Nice apartment (Big), perfect location. Clean and tidy Parking is confusing as theres a space for no.2 but we're told have to move by 9:30?"

"Quaysiders resort is an apartment/hotel right by the upper side of Lake Windermere in Ambleside. It is in an absolutely perfect location close to the lake, shops, restaurants. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with a kitchen that had all kitchen amenities. Our Apartment was very clean and spacious . There is an indoor pool that was warm and it can also be like a Jacuzzi. There is also a Sauna. The resort also has a laundry room and dryer so I was able to do my laundry while on our stay. The...

"Fantastic location so close to the restaurants, shops and lake. The apartment was very clean and had everything you needed. Great communication from the host. Will be booking again. "

"Very easy check-in, parking right in front of the property. Clean room, nice welcome pack for the dog. Host was very responsive to communication. Would recommend."

"There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher and parking was a nightmare; other cars were in the spot that were suppose to be designated for the listing. We had to pay to park over night. Pill out bed is not very comfortable. The host had great communication when we had trouble with accessing the check in instructions. Overall, wish the dishes in the dishwasher had been dealt with correctly as we planned on eating breakfast there in the morning before leaving but had no clean cutlery!"

"We loved our stay here, it's perfectly located 5 minutes walk into Bowness and 20 minutes into Windemere.Communication between Liam and us was fab, you couldn't ask for more, although you didnt see him, you knew he was on hand. The apartment is nice, I needed to work a few days and the wifi was good enough to handle this really well.Although the apartment is a little tired, it has everything you need for a perfect stay.I would definitely stay here again."

" Convenient location close to train station, bus departures, supermarket and start of shopping and restaurant streets. Small room with adequate ensuite and character to decoration."

"Host was great- communication excellent- good eateries close by- clean and tidy"

"Super apartment, just off the main road so nice and quiet. Well stocked with cooking equipment , great shower and comfy beds to boot. Very clean and would recommend staying again."
