"Room was very clean, staff was great & helpful.
No hot water for tea on the buffet though tea bags were at the coffee station. Asked the attendant and he had to go back into his work area to fill a cup for me.
Other issue was the lack of electrical outlets near tthe bed. Husband uses CPAP and we had to pull a bed away from wall to access outlet under headboard.Since this was a quick overnight stay rather than drive the 50 miles home to be right back up early the next morning, we didnt have our vacation travel "necessities " bag which has a power strip and extension cords. Theere was a multiport USB Charger but it was over on the desk so having your phone nearby and charging wasnt an option.. We did mention these issues at the front desk. No outlets on the lamps. The other tqo wall outlets on the other side of ghe bed"
"Gym was clean and has multiple machines for cardio. There are free weights, and pulley weight systems. Fresh towels and complimentary headphones to watch TV on individual machines.
Laundry and front desk staff were a bit of a challenge as the plastic covering was dirty with dried blood and food. I asked for a replacement and sheet service but all they did was change the bedding and left the dirty plastic cover in place. When I asked staff to change it again, he said, “what’s it matter you’ve already slept on it for 2 days?” I explained I did not know it was there. After further discussion, he offered to move me rooms, which I declined because I was staying 2 more nights and had “moved in” to the room unpacking my clothes and food into the fridge. I grabbed the general manager’s card thinking I will follow up with him later. I left the hotel and returned to the plastic cover being replaced but the bed unmade. I made the bed myself. I then noticed the remote for the TV was gone (it is assumed they wrapped it up in the bedding). I searched the room and when looking under the couch found a tie, which was not mine and made me conclude under the couch had not been thoroughly cleaned in a while. I returned to the front desk to return the tie and report where I found it, along with requested a new remote. Remote issue was resolved in less than 10 minutes when one was delivered to my room. Staff was short, curt, and dismissive during interactions but ultimately complied w/ requests"
"We were supposed to have a handicap room, when the room wasn't as expected, I went to the front desk to get a handicap room. They said they only had 1 handicap room and it was booked until after we checked out. It made our stay incredibly difficult with my elderly parents. They weren't able to take a shower or get off the toilet without assistance. Had I known i never would have booked this hotel. We weren't able to cancel or move hotels either. I would like a full refund. "
"Staff was courteous, check-in/out process was a breeze.
My only complaint would be the stained furniture and flooring in the room and the hair that is actually embedded in the clear caulking aroundd the sink "
